Vibe Teacher Recruitment

Craig from Vibe has decided to sponsor the club this season. They are always looking for great teachers that wouldn’t mind a change from the classroom to come and work with us in the office. We, ideally, would like to get some more blokes but are happy to speak to anyone if they are interested (provided they have a teaching background).
A Teacher Referral Program is now in place with this company. Once a teacher has registered and worked ten days, Vibe will pay a referral of £100 to the Putney Magpies account. So if you know of any teacher who has just arrived fresh of the boat, send them their way!!!

The Church

If you fancy a few drinks, a laugh, a dance and the chance to sing your heart out to some new and classic rock on a Sunday afternoon then Church is the place for you.

The show is risque…the comedian swears (!) and we have strippers every week, usually female but sometimes male as well, but it’s all very light hearted so imagine stag/hen do rather than lap dancing club.

The Worlds only all inclusive Sports Festival

The Worlds only all inclusive Sports Festival

When: Saturday 1st May to Monday 3rd

Location: Lloret De Mar

What is TourFest?

The WORLD’S only All-Inclusive sports festival for European teams!

TourFest is a new concept from Teamlink that makes the average sports tournament look like Granny’s afternoon tea party. We’ve combined some familiar ingredients (tour, sport, social, Spain) with some not so familiar ones (all-inclusive accommodation – including all food and drink at hotels, the biggest possible range of sports, Europe-wide participation, exclusive nightclubs with headline acts and FREE bars) to create the most exciting European club tournament you have ever seen that promises to be the wildest weekend of your life. Once you pay for your ALL INCLUSIVE WRISTBAND you will not need any money at TourFest; simply put, we have paid for everything for you in advance.

This IS a sports festival but NOT as you know it. This infamous area of northern Spain is synonymous with blazing sun, blue sea and lots and lots of… social distractions! Less well known are its sporting facilities – some of the best in Spain – which we have secured for TourFest 2010.

A big attraction of the competition at TourFest 2010 – as well as the sun kissed location – is variety. Men’s and women’s teams can choose from Football, Rugby (Union 7’s, 10’s XV’s, League and Touch), Hockey, Netball, Volleyball, Aussie Rules Football, Basketball and Cheerleading. These tournaments will be ran and organised by our event management team, responsible for industry leading unparalleled sporting events such as Rock and Rugby XV’s, Strawberries Hockey Tournament, Stockholm Tens, San Miguel Soccer 7’s and CalellaFest, the most infamous of student sports festivals.

The traditional image of the Costa Brava is sun, sea and sex and who are we to argue! That’s why away from competition, all participants will be based in Lloret de Mar for Tour Fest. This notorious party town ticks all the boxes on the hedonism checklist:

Golden beaches – check!
Exclusive festival venues – check!
Themed party nights – check!
Goldfish bowl cocktails – check!

More pubs, bars and clubs than you can shake a (hockey) stick at – check!

Two nights all inclusive package including:

- Return flights to Spain (inc taxes)

-Tournament Entry fee

-Resort & tournament transfers

-2 nights 3* accommodation

-All Inclusive meals (3 per day)

-All Inclusive drinks (10am-11pm)

-Sports & Travel Insurance

All for £274pp

However if you are interested in partying until 4am then we also have the perfect package for you( at a reduced rate of course), it includes:

Everything in the basic 2 night package above PLUS 2x Evening Entertainments Wristband, which means you won’t have to spend a penny while you’re there for £309pp.

For more details please contact the club.

The first Jumbuck’s cafe opened in Bournemouth in 2003 offering gourment Jaffle pies. As word spread, Jumbuck’s went from strength to strength.
